Basicly this week is about researching and calculation. Because I am doing the internal wall frame for the second floor, so I start to search some related information and depends on the standard to make the wood structure.

 

 
 

 

So i have researched these imformation with Ashley Zheng in Australian Standard and BCA, Matthew had give a pdf file of the australian standard and then me and ashley selected the size of the beams and studs togeter

 

                        


So the size of the beams and stud are same with Ashley's, which are the ones below:

wall stud - page 15 table 7                45x90
top plates -        table15                45x90
bottom plates -     table 14               45x90
lintels -           table 17               45x90


And also the spacing between the beams are 450mm.
