Assessment Criteria
CLARITY OF THE ORAL PRESENTATION_ Does the oral presentation
communicate a clear, concise and appropriately delivered Group Theoretical
Position?
Overall the presentation is quite clear, each of the member
is been taken care of their topic, when different person take turn, we knew a
new topic will start. And the use of PowerPoint slides to enhance their topic
while talking makes me understand more of the concept.
CLARITY OF THE WRITTEN PRESENTATION_ Does the Written
presentation communicate a clear, concise and appropriately delivered Group
Theoretical Position?
The group is clearly define each of the key factors of planning,
and as well as the steps of planning. I would say their written presentation is
very well prepared, with a lot of information to explain. But due to the heavy
amount of text on each of the slides, it kind of makes the audience confused
and don't want to continue finish reading all the information that shown on the
slide, maybe dot points format could be apply on their next presentation, to
make the information more clear.
DISTINCTIVENESS AND SPECIFICITY OF THE EXAMPLES_ Are the
examples used to elaborate the particular theme of collaboration distinctive
and specific?
Examples are used during the presentation, and they are
quite distinct. The thing I like the
most in this presentation is they show the example of their group, how the well
plan for the whole assignment, even one of the member in the group is sick,
other people in the group can still do some backup for him/her.
REFERENCING_ Are all sources of content properly referenced?
There is no referencing on each of the picture that they
used. But the group said they put the reference on their wiki, but I still
think it is a essential to put the reference on the PowerPoint that they show
rather than in the wiki.
THE CONCEPTUAL CONTEXT_ Is it clear that the students have a
strong grasp of the conceptual context of their theme of collaboration?
Yes, but as I mentioned above, the text on the slides should
be reduced. This presentation will help me not only this course but also in the
future, it teaches me how to allocate the work in your project, there will always have a emergency situation
that we cannot predict, it is essential that to make a plan B all the time. It
also teaches me we should make a schedule at the very beginning of the work and
strictly follow it to complete the corresponding part within a certain period
of time, prevent from delaying the whole process of the work.
THE STILL IMAGE_ Do the still images support and extend our
understanding of the Group Theoretical Position the students are presenting?
Yes, their images are
helping them to support their idea, such as the part that show the manage
structure of the group.
